Welcome to Shades of the Sycamore. This is a collection of poetry that gives you a peek into life of the fifties and sixties. For this author, it was a time when life was young, choices were easy, friends were many, and worries were all but non-existent. Life was viewed through young eyes so its priorities were much different than today's. The world had a much friendlier face and there was always someone to step in and take over.
